RIDEMATE WEB RELEASE

Privacy & service information

This working web release supports accounts, ride booking, manual driver approval, trip chat, wallet accounting, and administrative records.

Information stored

RideMate stores account details, hashed passwords, ride records, driver document numbers and expiry dates, messages, payment ledger entries, and optional emergency contact details. Driver GPS coordinates are stored only after a driver starts location sharing during an assigned trip.

Visibility

Trip participants can access their trips and messages. Administrators can review operational records and safety incidents. Corporate administrators can see rides taken by linked employees. Trip sharing exposes only the route, status, and vehicle details to anyone who has the link.

Services awaiting connection

Government identity checks, SMS, card/mobile-money payments, live map routes, and automated emergency dispatch are not connected. Do not submit payment card details or identity-card images. Driver reviews are manual.

Deployment responsibilities

Before public launch, the operator must provide its legal identity and contact information, retention policy, account recovery and deletion procedures, relevant terms, and applicable compliance review. This page describes the software and is not a completed legal privacy policy.

Demo use

When demo mode is enabled, all test wallet credits and seeded records are fictional and carry no monetary value. Do not use demo accounts for real passenger journeys.
